Who, me? But I never win...

Just got a message on Goodreads informing me that I won Anne Bradshaw's Famous Family Nights.

Now, when I entered this contest, I thought it was an adorable cover, school kid appropriate, and as I'm going to be a teacher, I thought 'Why not?'
And it is going to be all of those things. But what I discovered when I actually bothered to read all the way down is that Bradshaw (and her books) are LDS. Now, I don't have a problem with this, but I am not religious in any shape or form, so I kind of feel like I cheated some LDS person out of their wholesome book...(Sorry, Mormons!)

But I will read it and I will review it, and I will probably keep it for school. If not, there may be a chance to win it on here, so maybe some LDS person will win it and restore a little balance. ;)

But the real moral of this story is WOOHOO I WON!

  1. How nice of you to be concerned about LDS readers not winning, Misty. But don't worry, I'm sure they'll understand and be glad for you. And the book can help all families, LDS or not. Hope you enjoy the read :-)
