To participate:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers
But of course, I do things a little differently. Because I don't like giving you something random, but want instead something to actually tease you, I am going to give you a teaser from a book I have just read (with the full review to follow later in the week). So let's begin, shall we?
If I can show him everything I am -- wingscars and quills -- and he can stay fallen with his fallen angel, then I might finally be free. But I've screwed this up every time since the fall of man. I must watch my step.
Walking out in the middle of a funeral would be, of course, bad form. So attempting to walk out on one's own was beyond the pale.
oh the PPZ series sounds hilarious, but I'm always wary of reading parodies...they start out awesome but lose direction more often than not =T
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to get a copy of and Falling, Fly now, not sure why I overlooked it at first either...maybe the weird grammar in the title lol
I've read PP&Z and still need to post a review. My teaser is from the first Nancy Drew.
ReplyDeleteboth teasers made me shake my head and re-read. Great work.
ReplyDeletehere is mine http://livemorenow.wordpress.com/2010/03/02/teaser-tuesday-the-adventures-of-alianore-audley/
I some times do a couple of teasers. This week there is just one though.

Cool teasers. Here's Mine.
ReplyDeleteNice ones!
ReplyDeleteThese are both great teasers. I've never seen your blog before, but I love the header with the rat. :) I'll add you to my blogroll. My teaser is at The Crowded Leaf.
ReplyDeleteI definitely prefer the first one. I can't stomach those adapted books.
