  1. I really enjoyed Crocodile on the Sandbank and went on to read quite few of the books in the series, but I still think this is one of the best.

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter is an absolutely fabulous book--I can't believe it took me so long to get around to reading it.

    Enjoy your new books.

  3. Jane - I read The Heart is a Lonely Hunter a couple of years ago and enjoyed it, so when I saw it, I picked it up.

Bookish - No, I haven't read them! I know a lot of kids when I was younger loved them, but the class that I was in read it just before I moved there, so I never read them. A lot of people have been recommending them to me lately, and I got a great deal on them, so I thought, why not?
