It's September and that means two things: 1) it's time for September zombies (you already knew that), and 2) it's time for this years R.I.P. (Reader Imbibing Peril) Challenge, hosted by Stainless Steel Droppings! I've been looking forward to this, partly because of all of the great things I'm going to get to read, partly because of all of the great reviews bloggers will be writing and sharing, and partly because of the gorgeous blog buttons that come along with the R.I.P. Challenge.
This year, since I'm going to be reading so much for September Zombies and Helluva Halloween, I feel pretty confident throwing my hat in for Peril the First:
which is to read any four books that fit the very broad definition of scary/supernatural/awesome. Since I'm also doing Short Story Saturdays throughout both months, I'm going to go ahead and grab the button for that, too:
Come. Join me for some delicious Peril...
I'm participating as well. Sounds like a lot of fun, doesn't it? It's giving me a great excuse to re-read The Woman in White.
ReplyDeleteZombies and RIP V...two great tastes that er...well, you know what I mean.
ReplyDeletethanks for joining in again this year, it is wonderful to have you. I hope both Sept AND Oct. are full of great creepy, ghoulish reads for you.
Sounds like you have a fun two months ahead! Zombies get a bit ignored in the large scheme of things. They deserve some attention... ha ha!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books!
