CLOSED Jane Eyre Giveaway



Growing up, I was a huge fan of the classics.  I'd say I read them more than any other genre, and many of them I read more than once.  This includes Jane Eyre, which took over my brain when I was about 17 or so.   I adored it in all of its dark melodrama.  That's why I'm super excited about the new movie adaptation of the book, and pleased as punch to bring you today's giveaway.  It hit theaters on March 11th, and though I haven't seen it yet, I have every intention of doing so.  It looks awesome.  Check it out:

About the Film:
Mia Wasikowska (“Alice in Wonderland”) and Michael Fassbender (“Inglourious Basterds”) star in the romantic drama based on Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel, from acclaimed director Cary Fukunaga (“Sin Nombre”). In the story, Jane Eyre flees Thornfield House, where she works as a governess for wealthy Edward Rochester. As she reflects upon the people and emotions that have defined her, it is clear that the isolated and imposing residence – and Mr. Rochester’s coldness – have sorely tested the young woman’s resilience, forged years earlier when she was orphaned. She must now act decisively to secure her own future and come to terms with the past that haunts her – and the terrible secret that Mr. Rochester is hiding and that she has uncovered…

    SO in lurve with Jane Eyre. I've seen pretty much every movie version I can find, and I can't WAIT to see the new movie. :) As soon as it comes to a theater near me.

    I love Jane Eyre! I loved the book and I think I love every film adaptation ever made. I actually saw the Joan Fontaine version first and it was what inspired me to read the book when I was in my late teens/early twenties. I can't wait to see the new movie and I do plan on rereading the book someday soon.

    Jane Eyre is one of my favorites, I've read my now slightly ratty Puffin Classic edition at least three times. The first time was in 7th grade, after reading about it in another book. I would really like to see the movie and drag my bf along, since he's never read it. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

    My mother recommended this book so much! I had the opportunity to read it just a few years ago, and I fell in love with the story, the characters, and everything! I would love to read it again! I think I will do before seeing the new movie.

    I actually haven't read Jane Eyre or read the book. I would love to though. I would like to read the book before the movie. I feel like it's always better that way.

    I can't wait til it comes out nationwide...I'm grring that there isn't a city within 100 miles that is playing it.

    Jane Eyre is my favorite book and fell in love with it as a teen. I've seen almost every movie and TV adaptation possible so am anxiously awaiting this one as well. Thanks for the giveaway.

    I read Jane Eyre in 10th grade and wasn't really impressed with it at the time. Later on, I read Wide Sargasso Sea and I loved it, but I didn't reread Jane Eyre. I'm excited for the new film and I would love to reread it before I see it.
