Some of the awesome HP things I'm sure you've already seen, like the new trailer (or the awesome literal version) or the Ministry of Magics website, Magic is Might. But some of these maybe you haven't come across?

One of the cool and bookish HP things I came across lately was from The Daily What, which showcased some hardcore HP love. (Not like that; get your minds out of the gutter.)
One HP fan used the book to propose to his girlfriend in an ingenious way:
*Youwillius Sayyessus!
*kittehs sold separately.

And if you still can't get enough Harry after all that and the theme park, you can always visit the Harry Potter Exhibition, which will be in Times Square April - September. It allows fans to get up close and personal with sets, props and costumes from the all of the movies:

Buzzfeed featured an article that asked the question: What would the world be like if Harry Potter had an MBA? The results? Things like this:

LOVE that set. ADORE those flowers!
ReplyDeleteOooh Lei would love the exhibition! All the more reason to go to NYC before September. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I have memorized the over half of the HP literal.
ReplyDeleteJust gonna let that sink in.
I was a bit apalled at the hollowed out book, but after further consideration I have decided that that it the best engagement ever! Way better than a jumbo-tron or fortune cookie.
coolio! would love to go to Times Square.
ReplyDeleteLove the HP love! I wish I lived in New York now...
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Don't think I will make it to Times Square, so I hope the exhibition tours.
ReplyDeleteVery much looking forward to Jane in June! (And I love your profile.)
First thought: OMG WHY WOULD ANYONE CUT UP A HP BOOK?!?! But then I realized why ... so my reaction turned into: OMG THAT'S SO CUTE (but incredibly nerdy....) :P
ReplyDeleteStuff like this makes me love HP even more :) Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteThe book with the engagement ring reminds me of the way Dewey proposes to Gale at the end of Scream 3: he uses a copy of the book she wrote about the mystery that brought them together. <3
That's why I hope the boyfriend was a Harry Potter fan, too, because it's doubly romantic when the book used for the purpose is meaningful to both lovebirds! =)
