CLOSED Giveaway: The Secrets Pack

I have a super secret giveaway for you today.  Well, maybe not so secret anymore...

Mr Darcy and the Secret of Becoming a Gentleman
Maria Hamilton

When Elizabeth Bennet refuses his hand, Darcy is devastated and makes it his mission to change. By every civility in his power, Darcy slowly tries to win her affections, but Elizabeth is not easily swayed. Darcy vows to unlock the secrets that will make her his. He curses himself for his social awkwardness and appearance of pride, and sets out to right the wrongs he's done her family.
Elizabeth's family and friends misunderstand his intentions, and being in Elizabeth's presence proves to be both excruciating for the shy Darcy-and a dream come true. For the first time in his life, he must please a woman worth having, and the transformation leads him to a depth of understanding and love that he never could have imagined.

Mr Darcy's Secret
Jane Odiwe

Shortly after their marriage, Elizabeth begins to find evidence that Darcy may have something to hide—old love letters hidden in a book and a young man of questionable parentage, to start. Caroline Bingley and George Wickham begin to besmirch Darcy’s good name and sow seeds of discontent, but while Darcy and Elizabeth are already at odds, revelations of past conduct emerge that threaten to destroy their happiness...

  1. Totally didn't realize that there were so many books with the word "secret" in the title until you pointed it out! LOL! Thanks for the awesome opportunity!

  2. I read and enjoyed Mr Darcy's Secret but have yet to get my hands on MDatSoBaG. It looks really good! I'm intrigued to find out how Darcy's transformation takes place and how much resistance Miss Lizzy puts up!

I don't have any Austen-related secrets but if I had any pets I could see myself naming them something pertaining to Austen! I do think it's amusing to break into Regency-speak sometimes, or randomly quote things to see if anyone will get the reference.

  3. Ok, I confess: I'm a random quoter, too. Same with the random Regency talk. And I do it even more in my head, complete with accent.

  4. I just love the cover of Maria Hamilton's novel. It is so mysterious with just the hat and flower petels. I'm intrigued.

I have heard good things about Jane Odiwe's book.

I'd love to read both. :)

  5. I've never really been one to like off-shoots of an original story, but these sound REALLY good. You and vvb32 reads are solely responsible for turning me into a fledgling Janeite. Jerks :P

  8. Mr. Darcy's Secret is a fabulous book. I haven't read The Secrets of Becoming a Gentleman yet, but the reviews have been so good that I'm dying to get my hands on it!
