Last week, we pitted 8 of Austen's most beloved, most swoon-worthy heroes against each other in a no holds barred battle royale. There were 28 voters total, and here are the standings after round one:

Verdict: Tilney will be facing Darcy
Brackets 3 & 4
Brandon 13 | Knightley 15
Wentworth 26 | Bingley 2
Verdict: Knighley will be facing Wentworth
I find it somewhat disheartening that Edmund Bertram got more votes than Charles Bingley. Just saying. Though to be fair, Bingley was up against Wentworth, so...
Anyway, on to Round 2! You've gotten your favorite men through Round 1; don't let them falter now! Weight in with your pick for each pairing. Your votes will decide who makes it into the finals.

ReplyDeleteOK, I'll give a vote to Tilney out of sympathy. Don't want the bloke to feel like Bingley must right now. And in truth I do adore Henry Tilney so it isn't too hard to shift my attention. For a while, that is.
Wentworth wins over Knightley, no contest for me.

But the 2nd is harder. I guess I'd go with Henry Tilney because he's so honorable and cute and not afraid to be frank with the heroine. I do like Wentworth but he's too...quiet for me.
