Wishlist Wednesday: Jane, Jane and more Jane

I've been sharing a lot of really cool bits and pieces of some Janeish books, courtesy of some fantastic authors, and all of them are increasing my wishlist pile.  Well, I guess I should say, all of the ones I don't have, as my Janeite shelf has grown in recent years.
So here, in no particular order, are some of the Jane in June books of Janey fantasticness that have danced a reel right onto my wishlist as we reach the 1/2 way point of JnJ:

The second in Juliet Archer's Darcy & Friends series. When do you let your heart rule your head? As far as men are concerned, Anna Elliot is stuck in the past. No one can compare to Rick Wentworth, the man she was persuaded to give up eight years ago. Meanwhile, Rick's moved on - and up. He's got a successful career and a carefully controlled love life where his heart doesn't get a look in. The words 'forgive and forget' aren't in Rick's vocabulary. The word 'regret' is definitely in Anna's. When they meet again, can she persuade him that their lost love is worth a second chance?

I'm eager to meet Dr Rick.

Perfect for Short Story Saturday next year! (Psst! Win this!)

When the smoke has cleared from the battlefields and the civil war has finally ended, fervent Union supporter Beth Bennet reluctantly moves with her family from their home in Meryton, Ohio, to the windswept plains of Rosings, Texas. Handsome, haughty Will Darcy, a Confederate officer back from the war, owns half the land around Rosings, and his even haughtier cousin, Cate Burroughs, owns the other half.
In a town as small as Rosings, Beth and Will inevitably cross paths. But as Will becomes enchanted with the fiery Yankee, Beth won't allow herself to warm to the man who represents the one thing she hates most: the army that killed her only brother.
But when carpetbagger George Whitehead arrives in Rosings, all that Beth thought to be true is turned on its head, and the only man who can save her home is the one she swore she'd never trust...

The excerpt Caldwell contributed from an unpublished work makes me want to read his published goodies!

As you can see, we've had some excellent Janeish things highlighted so far this year.  And that's just the stuff I don't have!
So have you seen anything yet that you just had to add to your wishlist?

  1. Jane Austen Made Me Do It looks like such fun! I adore anything Austen-esque, and short stories are always a good choice in my busy life. I'll definitely have to check that one out.
