  1. I have Dangerous Angels, too. I absolutely love Weetzie Bat, and basically anything by Francesca Lia Block. She writes like no one else; her works are so different and magical, they're beyond comparison.

  2. Ooh, good to know. I have another book by her too (maybe 2?), but I haven't read it yet. Heard good things about this series though, so looking forward to it. And they must be short, quick reads, because there are FIVE books in this volume, which isn't inordinately thick.

  3. So, you need to push some books on me for once. The only thing I've read by Tamora Pierce is the Song of the Lioness quartet (which I loved of course). What should I read next?

I am so curious about your Dark Parties review since I didn't like the book.

Yay for Borders! I'm holding out until the YA discount is a little bigger even though it'll be super picked over by then. I did go check out the romance though, I might should go back for one more run of that...

  6. I haven't read anything by Meg Cabot either. I thought I was the only one. Great choices! Dark Parties has been getting mixed reviews, but I like the sound of it.

    Enjoy your new reads!

  7. I am jealous that you have your organized by color!! I want to do that but I am too chicken!! Maybe when I have more books.

I Loved the Fever series so much! (I swear I am going to read the last one soon!) I think they get better as they go on!

I know what you mean about the Supernaturally cover. I have Paranormalcy and so I planned to buy it but I did not think I loved it. Hopefully I will like it better when I get it in my hands!

Also I like the new angle that we're getting in this week's vlog. I'm enjoying peeking at your green bookshelf. Pretty!

  17. I liked the Tamora Pierce book. It was a lot of fun to see the characters from her series books come back to life, so to speak. Some of the stories were a little weird, though.

  18. Dark Parties and Supernaturally look great! The only book I've read is Liar, and I didn't actually finish that one, I was one of the ones who didn't like it. Enjoy all your books :)
