There's a part of me that wants to have a face off with the various covers of Mary E Pearson's The Adoration of Jenna Fox series (I mean, I own and love to of the different versions, after all), but for now I'm just going to let Jenna face off against the puzzling face on the cover of MetaGame. (Puzzling, haha. Get it?) [ba dum bum]. Anywhoodle, both are pretty neat-o, but which one catches your eye? Knowing nothing about either book, which one would you pick up?
Which one did it better?
Last Week on FFO: The US and UK versions of Amy Kathleen Ryan's Glow faced off in one of the closest matches we've had in recent weeks, with the UK cover just barely sparkling its way to a win.

I like the cover for Jenna Fox much better actually. I like the profile shot better and the puzzles pieces seem more like a part of the image than the very definite- PUZZLE! feel (IMO) of Mind Games.
ReplyDeleteI like Jenna Fox better.
ReplyDeleteI"m in agreement. Jenna Fox for me.
ReplyDeleteBlack Disaster Fairy
A World of Personality
Jenna fox for me as well.
ReplyDeleteI like the cover of Jenna Fox more. The profile shot looks better, and I like that it's more puzzley.
ReplyDeleteThe 1st one. The 2nd feels so odd.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I really dislike both of these. But I guess the 1st one is slightly better.
ReplyDeleteJenna Fox did it way better!
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm kinda hating both of these, as well, but the Jenna Fox one is the better of the two.
ReplyDeleteThe Metagame cover looks like a PC program manual, I don't like it at all.
ReplyDeleteJenna all the way :)
Jenna!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm the only one that likes MetaGame.
ReplyDeleteJenna Fox!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of the "puzzle" design for either cover. Puzzle pieces are meant to be 3D but covers that use them normally lack any depth in the image. Metagame pulls it off a bit better but meh. Even my cover whorish ways do not approve.
ReplyDeleteJenna Fox. Which reminds me that I still need to get my grabby hands on a copy :)
