  1. I started Saving Cee Cee Honeycutt but it just wasn't for me I guess, couldn't get into it. But I am SO JEALOUS about The Future of Us, I'm dying to read it!

  2. S&S listened to the fans; they're keeping The Monstrumologist series alive! I picked up The Curse of the Wendigo in Borders too. I went way crazy there.

  3. Yes, read the Dresden books chronologically. My boyfriend has read them all, and each book builds on the last one. I'm up to book 7 or 8. Love them.

  4. WOW! So many great books as usual. It's sad that Borders is closing, but from a book-buyer's view it probably feels like Christmas has come early. Hope you enjoy them and someday come across a copy of Halfway to the Grave :-)

  6. Haha! You caved! Lol. Don't worry. At least you're making me feel better about myself. I've definitely been guilty of swerving off the road and into the nearest parking lot when I see a Borders closing sign (or even Blockbuster). I can't help it! Cheap books and DVDs are my weakness.

  11. I STILL haven't been to Borders... I guess it's a good thing looking at your haul!!! Well, it does sound like you got a lot of books off the bargain bin so that can't be too bad.

At this rate, I don't even know what Borders stores are still open in my area. Oh well. I'll try not to look them up. :P

I really liked the Future of Us. I love how it pokes fun at Facebook. I've read Bacigalupi's (I would say his name the same way as you did) Ship Breaker; I thought it was alright, but I really want to try his adult novels.

Also, you're not the only one to accidentally pick up a second copy. I thought that my Griffin and Sabine collection by Nick Bantock was incomplete so I picked up the third book from the bargain bin. Turned out that I already had it. :P

    Happy reading!
