December TBR vlog + linky

Here is my TBR stack for the final month of 2011.  Is anyone else vaguely freaked out by that?  And also super excited for all of the fantastic books that are coming out in 2012?!  Apocalypse be damned!

Anywho, this is a light stack for me, but hopefully I'll be able to read more than this, in which case they'll be included in the December Rewind video.  (And if you're curious about November's Rewind, you can find that here!)

If you do your own TBR vlog or blog, make sure to link it up below so we can all check it out and share some comment love!

THE STACK:

The Twelfth Enchantment by David Liss: Goodreads | Amazon
Cinder by Marissa Meyer: Goodreads | Amazon
When the Sea is Rising Red by Cat Hellisen: Goodreads | Amazon
Tempest by Julie Cross: Goodreads | Amazon
A Touch of Power by Maria V Snyder: Goodreads | Amazon

  1. I really want to read Cinder as well, but I'm going to wait until the very beginning of Jan. I hope you enjoy. I've linked up.

  3. Sounds like a great stack of books for December. I always have such a hard time deciding what to read in December cause it's so busy. Cinder sounds awsome, can't wait till it comes out. Hopefully I'll get approved from Netgalley!

  5. Okay, I really can't catch up with Shelf Awareness. So I don't know if I missed that Maximum Shelf email last week. Still, I have been seeing Cinder A LOT lately. I guess I'll have to read your review and others when it comes closer to release date to help me make my mind up about it.

I still need to read a work of Snyder. I started Poison Study but never finished before it was due at the library. Need to do that eventually especially since I now have a copy at home.

I'm doing the complete opposite. I have so many books planned to read this month. I don't know how I'm going to do it, but I'm determined.

  6. Is this where I leave the comment? Sorry, but I'm lost on the Internet...

  7. Well, that depends, Jeff. Leave the comment for what? If you have something to say about the video or your own reading, sure, here is where you comment. If you want to link up your own vlog/blog, you do it above (which it looks like you did.) If you're wanting to comment on something else entirely...well, then I'm not sure where you should comment.
    :p

  8. Hmm, looks like the link you left is just to your blog, not to a monthly TBR post. Sorry, but I'm going to have to remove that. No offense meant.

  9. None taken, Misty. I just saw that 'Mister Linky' thingy and popped a URL in there, then commented like it told me to. I had no idea what it wanted or what it would do. (Hmm. Probably that's a bad policy to follow, all around.)

  10. oh... and FWIW, I'd offer a comment on the video, but it won't come up. The little wheel just spins and spins... unless of course that IS the video. In which case, I'd comment that it's probably trying to be hypnotic, but in reality it's only fairly dull.
