TBR Tuesday & Wishlist Wednesday

TBR Tuesday is going up a tad late because I didn't want to clutter up the page yesterday, with the Follower Love giveaway going on.
So today you're getting both a TBR and a Wishlist. :)

First up:

On My TBR:

Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale
Amazon | Book Depository | Goodreads

Contemporary Romance/Austenite! 288 pages
Published January 31st 2012 by Bloomsbury USA
When Charlotte Kinder treats herself to a two-week vacation at Austenland, she happily leaves behind her ex-husband and his delightful new wife, her ever-grateful children, and all the rest of her real life in America. She dons a bonnet and stays at a country manor house that provides an immersive Austen experience, complete with gentleman actors who cater to the guests' Austen fantasies.

Everyone at Pembrook Park is playing a role, but increasingly, Charlotte isn't sure where roles end and reality begins. And as the parlor games turn a little bit menacing, she finds she needs more than a good corset to keep herself safe. Is the brooding Mr. Mallery as sinister as he seems? What is Miss Gardenside's mysterious ailment? Was that an actual dead body in the secret attic room? And-perhaps of the most lasting importance-could the stirrings in Charlotte's heart be a sign of real-life love?

Pretty sure I've featured this one on a Wishlist Wednesday post before. Well, now it's time to move it to the TBR Tuesday posts, cause you know whats? I gots it.  A beautiful, shiny, finished copy was sent to me by the lovelies at Bloomsbury, and though I won't be reading it until Jane in June, I will maybe have something else to share with you until then.  And, um, maybe an appearance from Shannon Hale in JnJ. I know.
^_^

And:

On My Wishlist:
The Unnatruralists by Tiffany Trent
Amazon | Book Depository | Goodreads
Steampunk, 320 pages
Expected publication: August 14th 2012 by Simon & Schuster BYR
In an alternate London where magical creatures are preserved in a museum, two teens find themselves caught in a web of intrigue, deception, and danger.

Vespa Nyx wants nothing more than to spend the rest of her life cataloging Unnatural creatures in her father’s museum, but as she gets older, the requirement to become a lady and find a husband is looming large. Syrus Reed’s Tinker family has always served and revered the Unnaturals from afar, but when his family is captured to be refinery slaves, he finds that his fate may be bound up with Vespa’s—and with the Unnaturals.

As the danger grows, Vespa and Syrus find themselves in a tightening web of deception and intrigue. At stake may be the fate of New London—and the world.

I mean, come on! OF COURSE I want to read this one.  Everything about this screams "Read me naoooo!!!" but even if the synopsis didn't grab me, this cover - this cover.  Unfortunately we've got a bit of a wait.

So what's on your TBRs and Wishlists this week?

  1. Lucky, lucky! I thought Austenland was super cute. Midnight in Austenland is currently holding a spot in my own wishlist. So fun!

  2. I love Shannon Hale, but haven't read any of her Austenland books! (Just her Books of Bayern series, Princess Academy, and Thousand Days) I really should hop on that because this summary sounds fantastic!

And the Unnaturalists sounds like steampunk awesomeness!!!

    Great choices!
