TBR Tuesday: Showcasing all the books that are currently staring at you from your "Why aren't you reading me?" pile....
On my TBR
I've had these 2 books by Anne Osterlund on my shelves for quite some time now, and on my wishlist for a good deal before that. But as with many of the books I have on my shelves, I haven't had a chance to pick them up yet. Well, that's not entirely true, because I do pick them up. Literally. I just pick them up and hold them; look at them a bit and wonder what it'd be like to read them.
I never said I was sane.
Anyway, both were recommended to me enthusiastically by various people, and both sound interesting (and completely different from one another - go here for the synopsis of Academy 7 and here for Aurelia), and I'd certainly like to work them into the reading pile sooner rather than later. But they need a boost.
Anyone read these? What did you think of them?
What's lurking in your TBR stack this week?
I've read both of them. I LOVED Academy 7 and really liked Aurelia. It's been a couple years since I read Aurelia, but I remember liking it. I just read the sequel, Exile. Liked that one too, but not nearly as much as Academy 7. I'm hoping that's the beginning of a new series.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy them!
Those are so good! You have some awesome stuff on your pile! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI've read both as well! I liked Academy 7 more than Aurelia, which is strange for me because I usually love stories like Aurelia that have a medieval setting. Anyhow they're both good books, hope you enjoy them! :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously?! SeriouslySeriouslySeriouslySeriouslySeriouslySeriously?!?!?!?!?!?! You, Misty of The Book Rat, of all people, have not read these?! Anne Osterlund's books make my heart sing. Let's just say that. Please read these soon!!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I love that reaction, Sierra. That definitely bumps them up the list, for sure. =)
ReplyDeleteYAY! :D I'll be on the lookout... *coughstalkingcough* ;P
