  1. I am SO excited for Austen in August! Can't wait to hear what you think of all these books. The only meh reviews I've read of For Darkness Shows the Stars have been from those who adore Persuasion and couldn't let the inconsistencies go. Since it's been so so long for me on that one, I'm hoping I won't have that issue, though I do plan to read Persuasion along with the event! Also happy to see you liked Midnight in Austenland so much. I was happy that it was such a completely different book than Austenland, and feel like a lot of people who weren't expecting that got put off pretty early.

  2. I really really want to read For Darkness Shows the Stars but I have not yet read Persuasion. I GUESS I must do the read-along even if I've been wanting to read Mansfield Park for a while now.

I keep forgetting about Austen in August so this video was a good reminder.

And oh! I remember you mentioning Darcy and Fitzwilliam a few months ago, that one sounds good!

  3. Cialiiiinaaaaaa - I've been wanting to reread Mansfield Park! Which is really weird for me because I didn't really like it, so I've been putting it off. But now it's just been calling my name. Guess I'm ready to give it another try.
Pretty sure it WILL be the Read Along book next year. =)

  4. I didn't know Sanditon had been completed. I need to get my hands on that one.

  5. Hi Misty, thanks for including Jane Austen Made Me Do It in your Austen in August. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do creating it.

    Cheers, LA

  6. I recently read Persuasion JUST so I could read For Darkness Shows the Stars. But I haven't gotten to it yet >_< I read Persuasion and just got sidetracked by so many other books. Hopefully I will get to ForDSTStars soon! Bah, life's so tough, lol.
