And my now on to my August TBR, which is itty bitty because I don't know what to read!!! I mean, where to even start? Seems like every book right now is calling my name. So I may or may not read the books listed, and I will likely read others, though I really don't know what.
Also, I need your help: Vote for which book you'd like to see read and reviewed for Austen in August (details in the vlog!)

I vote for Jane Austen Ruined My Life, which I've wanted to read for some time, too.
ReplyDeleteI vote for the first book!!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, love the term Scooby Doo'ing. I've always called it monologueing ala The Incredibles, but yes, same idea. HATE it.
ReplyDeleteI loved Crewel, so please pardon me for completely promoting you being bad and reading it now (clearly I made the same decision). I just got Girl of Nightmares as well (saw your tweet that you got it)! Excited to check it out, I'm hoping I like it better than the first which I listened to on audio and the narrator kind of killed it.
Oh no! You should definitely get it in book form and read it, then, because it's awesome and I really loved Cas' narration.
ReplyDeleteSee, that's why I'm not a huge fan of audiobooks. The voices and narration styles always just kill it for me.
And I had STARTED to read Crewel (no promotion of my badness needed), but then GoN came in the mail the next morning, so I set Crewel to the side in favor of that. But I think Crewel will be next because I really liked what I read.
I loved this one, thanks for the post, even thought you wrote it 5 years ago!
