Coming Attractions: Fractured

Though a synopsis has not yet been released, the cover for Fractured, the second book in Teri Terry's Slated series, has made its way into the world. You may recall I was a fan of Slated (which I'm sorry, is still not out in the US. Don't hate me, at least a release date has been set...even if it is January of next year...)

I think it's an interesting progression from the cover of the first book, which was very dark and hazy. I like that this fits the character progression of Kyla - the government-induced fog they've kept her in is starting to lift, and that is echoed in the cover. (And, perhaps, the choice to tinge what remains around her red reflects some of the anger she's been medically kept from feeling, but is starting to analyze and even use? Or am I reading too much into this?)

So, what do you guys think? Do you like the cover progression, even if you haven't read the series? And if you have, are you going to be picking this one up?

This, by the way, is the US cover, which will be hitting shelves on January 24th. I'd suggest you pick it up. =)

  2. I really like these covers, and it's cool seeing the differences between the UK and US versions. On the Fractured cover, though, shouldn't the tagline be whom can you trust? Thanks for pointing out this great coming attraction!
