It looks like you had a pretty epic haul this week! I caught onto the dragon theme pretty quickly.
ReplyDeleteSeraphina is one I've always picked up and put down at the bookstore. Now I think I need to give it a try.
I also got a TARDIS ornament for my tree. We snatched up at BAM for $3 (in their super sale) and I like to look at it. I'm so nerdy I had a Dalek alarm clock that we put on as our angel this year.
Hope you enjoy all your amazing books this week!

I also have a copy of Midwinterblood, but I haven't read it yet. I am so excited to read it though, because Marcus Sedgwick's White Crow was FANTASTIC. I really think you'd like it (if you haven't read it yet.) It was very, very dark and creepy and weird, with some historical elements and a little magical realism. It reminded me of something AS King would write.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah, I'm rambling.
Happy holidays, Misty :)

awesome book haul :) I ended up with mostly money and giftcards for christmas so I went and fed my own book addiction, lol :) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteMegan @ Megz Madd Readz
Amber - YES, definitely pick up Seraphina. For serious, it is amazing.
ReplyDeleteBekka - I'm REALLY glad to hear you say that. I tried to read something else by him ages ago and couldn't get into it, so I was a little worried, but I LOVE magical realism and AS King.
Megan - ahh, the bookstore gift card. So many possibilities... gives me warm and fuzzies.
Happy reading!
