Welcome to the 3rd Annual Fairy Tale Fortnight!! If you've followed me on Twitter, Youtube, Facebook or right here on the blog for any length of time, you've heard me talk about Fairy Tale Fortnight - you may have even participated last year or the year before. But if you're new to the whole game, basically Fairy Tale Fortnight (or FTF) is a 2 week-long celebration of all things fairy tale and fairy tale-esque. Every day you can expect to find numerous fairy tale goodies, ranging from reviews and discussions to giveaways, interviews, guest posts and vlogs! And probably some other things, too!
FTF is created by me (go me!) and hosted by myself and Bonnie from A Backwards Story, and we both have a lot of things to share with you. But everyone is welcome to get involved and jump in on the fun! On each post, you'll see something like this:

And speaking of the lovely button, Bonnie and I owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to a few awesome deviants whose unbelievable stock I used to make this year's button and banner (as well as the blog hop crop!). Seriously, there are some truly amazingly talented, generous people out there, and they deserve ALL TEH CREDITS:
- Faestock, for the "Ariel" image, and for all of her amazing photography stock (there were so many I wanted to turn into buttons for this!)
- AshenSorrow for the castle background
- MysticBubblezs for the rocks Ariel is sitting on
You are all awesome for making such great stock available!
Now, I think that's all you really need to know to get you started - if you're curious and want more feel free to browse through last year's event, or the first year's event. This year's schedule is located below, and will be updated daily to show you what's coming next. There will be all kinds of giveaways, too, so make sure you register to win, and then enter away! We've even partnered with Kathy from I Am a Reader, Not a Writer to organize a HUGE fairy tale giveaway blog hop, so make sure to check that out on Tuesday!
And comment, comment, comment! I can't wait to discuss with all of you and see what all you have to say!
Happy reading and enjoy!

I'm sure you probably have everything lined up for this year but you should do some research and see if you can find picture for next year from a place called the 'German Fairy Tale Road' its hundreds of miles of road that tourist take every year to see sights that inspired the Brother's Grimms stories, like castles, and towers that are still there to this day.

I'll definitely have to look into that - thanks!
