Fields’ Rule #1: Don’t fall for the enemy.
Berry Fields is not looking for a boyfriend. She’s busy trailing cheaters and liars in her job as a private investigator, collecting evidence of the affairs she’s sure all men commit. And thanks to a pepper spray incident during an eighth grade game of spin the bottle, the guys at her school are not exactly lining up to date her, either.
So when arrogant—and gorgeous—Tanner Halston rolls into town and calls her “nothing amazing,” it’s no loss for Berry. She’ll forget him in no time. She’s more concerned with the questions surfacing about her mother’s death.
But why does Tanner seem to pop up everywhere in her investigation, always getting in her way? Is he trying to stop her from discovering the truth, or protecting her from an unknown threat? And why can’t Berry remember to hate him when he looks into her eyes?
With a playful nod to Jane Austen, Spies and Prejudice will captivate readers as love and espionage collide.

You know I love all things p&p. So this just seem right up my alley!
ReplyDeleteI've actually read it a library copy and I loved it so much I want to own my own copy :) I totally love Mr. Bennett from P&P! He's awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love most stories to do with P&P, but I'm unfamiliar with Veronica Mars so my curiosity has me interested in this one. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.
ReplyDeleteIt's a different take on the same story. I don't know anything about Veronica Mars but I have always loved P&P.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to read Spies and Prejudice because it sounds like a great modern take on the P&P story. What fun!
ReplyDeleteThis one sounds so fun!! Thanks for the giveaway! :)

I'm a sucker for any kind of spy book, love! My favorite VM character has to be Logan :)
ReplyDeletei want to read Spies and Prejudice to see what sorts of twists & turns there are!!!!
ReplyDeleteI once borrowed Veronica Mars from a friend and I never finished the series because she needed it back fairly quickly. I really need to borrow it from her again because I always liked it! I would love to read this book!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like such a neat twist on the P&P story. I love mysteries so I can't wait to read this one. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like fun, since I love mysteries. My favorite side character from P&P is Charlotte, who is pragmatic and gets an ending she's perfectly happy with, even if it isn't romantic.
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong of me to choose Lydia Bennet? Sure, she's a brat but maybe I'm willing to excuse her because she's only 15.
ReplyDeleteliking espionage. liking it especially with a P&P spin! ;)
ReplyDeletethx for the generosity!
So very excited to have won a signed copy! Thank you Talia and Misty both for your wonderful generosity in setting up this giveaway. Sophie
