That's how much we love you), Cassandra Grafton is offering up a little something special - a full set of her novel, A Fair Prospect! Much like the Austen's original works, A Fair Prospect is told in volumes - Disappointed Hopes, Darcy's Dilemma and Desperate Measures, and today, you can win them all.
Click through to enter to when this set in winner's choice of format. And make sure to check out this year's "conversations," where you can find Cassandra's thoughts on everything from which Austen rake she'd like to reform to which Austen character she most resembles!

What might happen if, having been rejected by Elizabeth Bennet, Mr Darcy returned to face her? What if this second encounter resulted in an innocent but intimate encounter that leaves a lasting impression on the lady? With no respite from each other's company following this awkward moment, Elizabeth battles with unprecedented feelings as Darcy tries to overcome his disappointment. Add in the complication of a wealthy gentlemen constantly at the lady's side, an old family friend who has emerged as a potential suitor - a union that is viewed as a fair prospect by all - and the scene is set.

From Kent to London and beyond, A Fair Prospect takes Darcy and Elizabeth on an emotional journey as they try to determine where their hearts truly lie.

Inspired by Pride & Prejudice, A Fair Prospect is one story told across three volumes.

  1. well... I definitely like Mansfield Park even though at the beginning it was hard to swallow for me :)

  2. I felt neutral about Mansfield Park before I reread it, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, so although it doesn't get my best love, it certainly gets some :)

  3. My friends would probably say I was a Marianne or an Emma because I'm a hopeless romantic to the point of being reckless and love to meddle in the romances of others.

This series has been on my wishlist for a long time, so I really hope to win! Thanks for the great giveaway.

  4. The Austen rake I would like to reform is Willoughby. Maybe it's because I wasn't completely satisfied with Marianne and Colonel Brandon ending up together. I'm not sure but I think we could help him change his ways!! Maybe???:))

  5. I did a quiz recently and I can out as Elinor Dashwood - much too practical for my own good.

I don't loathe or love Mansfield Park I like it,

  6. I would like to reform Henry Crawford because in the right hands, he has the most chances of success to lose the rake tag. He didn't impregnate a young girl and left them for good after having his way (Willoughby) nor is he devious and a fortune hunter (Wickham). But that does absolve Crawford of his sins.

  7. I didn't enter the contest b/c I already have this set and look forward to reading them soon. I just wanted to say how much I am looking forward to Cassandra's take on the what-if question she posed and to thank her for all her great comments during the interview posts.

  8. The rake I'd most like to be reformed is Henry Crawford. For the sake of Darcy's childhood friendship I'd like to say Wickham, but I don't know that there's any going back from trying to run off with Darcy's baby sister.

I'm in the middle of the "love it or loathe it" MP debate. I like and appreciate it but I don't feel super strongly about it either way. Of course, it's been ages since I actually read the book lol. I wish I had time to squeeze it in before the end of AIA.

  9. I love "Pride and Prejudice," but the one thing that never quite sat right with me was that Lizzie decided that Darcy was the one for her AFTER she had seen his gorgeous house. Could the thought of living in such luxury have played a part in her change of attitude toward him?

  10. I'd love to reform Willoughby. He holds a place in my heart even though he is a blackguard.

  11. I'd like to think I'm Elizabeth, but I'm afraid I'm more like Charlotte. I felt pressured by the whole age thing, and I allowed that to cloud my judgment when I accepted a proposal I should not even have considered. I think there are a lot of Charlottes out there.

  12. one thing that i 'don't get' is how Jane & Lizzie don't try to be more encouraging & supportive of Mary, especially Jane, since she is the oldest & should understand Mary's insecurities...........

  13. I loave Mansfield Park. I both love and loathe it. I mean, it's funny and imagining Mrs Norris with gonorrhea is always fun and wishing, ever wishing that the end is in Crawfords favor is lovable, but the END. Hate.it.

  14. I really enjoyed Mansfield Park when I first read it years ago, even if I didn't buy Edmund's sudden realization of his love for Fanny and I didn't like Fanny all that much. I hope to re-read it soon and see what I think the second time around.

  15. I would love to see Henry Crawford reformed. He is my favorite "rake" and I think he just needs a good woman to bring out his best! ;) Such a lovely giveaway, I have heard SOOOOOOOO many wonderful things about Cassandra's books! Can't wait to read them!
