The Real Jane Austen (2002)

What better way to end our day than to apparently rhyme than to take a look at Austen's life? I recently came across the BBC's 2002 dramatization of Austen's life, The Real Jane Austen, narrated by actress and Austen-relative Caroline Bingley Anna Chancellor. (Thank you, lovely soul who uploaded it.)
Whether you're new to Jane Austen and wanting to know a bit more, are a diehard Janeite who wants to see her brought to life, or you just like Regency costumes, this little TV doc — which pulls from numerous accounts of Austen from those who knew her and from her own words, via letters and her novels — is a relaxed and charming way to lose yourself for an hour.
Is it weird to say I found it soothing? Because it is. (I chalk some of that up to Chancellor's voice.)

Take a look below, lose yourself in Austen for awhile, and I'll see you all tomorrow!
