The City of Angels soon becomes Hell on Earth and Lexie realizes that everyone—even Liam—has something they’re hiding. It’s time to find a new role to play–not the one she was cast in at birth.

Heather's even hired an actress to "be" Lexie, and has all sorts of things in the works, beyond the straight forward written story. In Heather's own words, this is a "multiplatform storytelling extravaganza," and "the wild west of storytelling!"The Lexie Project launches on Monday with four chapters and fun extras, and from then on, one new chapter will be posted each week, plus Lexie will be blogging several times a week on her Tumblr, tweeting, etc. It's like a modern-day serialized Charles Dickens story! But with more Twitter and less orphans!*
*One would presume. I make no actual claims on the amount of orphan-based content in The Lexie Project. . . ;)
Next week, as promo for the launch, Heather is asking readers to instagram (or twitpic, or what have you) pictures of themselves in heart-shaped glasses, à la Lexie, using the hashtags are #lexieproject #imreadinglexie and she will retweet them and upload to Lex's Instagram. So in addition to giving your input on the story and where it goes, you can literally be a part of Lexie's world, on her social media.
