I am so interested in Rebel Mechanics and Silver in the Blood. (Especially Rebel Mechanics. Steampunk vs. magic revolutionary war. Yes, please.) Would love to know what you think about them when you're finished. I like the idea of a next 5 TBR list - probably a lot easier to manage. However, I've never been particularly good at managing books and I'm such a mood reader that I don't think I'd like to be that limited. Hope it works well for you, though.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen too many people talking about Rebel Mechanics, so I'm curious to see what I think, since I'll really be going in with no biases. =)
DeleteYay! I'm looking forward to hearing how Silver in the Blood is. If it's as good as Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow, I'll be a happy, happy gal. And also curious about Rebel Belle! I hear good things.
ReplyDeleteI think the next 5 is a good way to go. Keep the pressure off you! :)
I'm reading it right now and fully invested! It's different for JDG, but it's winning me over! =)
DeleteTotally like the next 5, because as you know I have huge piles to read as well, and 5 is a more manageable, less stress inducing size.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I don't really get too stressed, because if it doesn't happen, then it doesn't happen, frankly. I've got more important things to worry about then whether I finish a book, and if a publisher's not happy about that... I think I'll live. ;)
DeleteBut I DON'T like being redundant, and it seems silly to keep posting a book in a TBR if I don't finish it and it rolls on to the next month... It was time for a shakeup!
I really hope that you enjoy Silver in the Blood! I've heard many mixed things about it, so hopefully you're on the positive side.

I DID end up on the positive side! I can see why people may have issues with it, but I thought it was a lot of fun. =)
