GIVEAWAY: Hand Lettered & Watercolored Bookmarks!

And yes, one of those bookmarks does say "Call me Lizzie; Miss Bennet if you're nasty."

It's been my tradition of the last few years to offer up a handmade giveaway for Austen in August.

Don't get me wrong, I love giving you guys books, but there's just something more special and personal about doing an individual, one of a kind item— and sending multiple such things out into the world.
It gives me warm fuzzies.

So this year, I'm doing a collection of watercolored and hand-lettered things.
Some of them are bookmarks, as you'll see right over there ←

There will also be some will be 5x7 frameable pieces, akin to what I did last year

like such (sans cat. She's just Vanna White-ing for you).  And some more will be added in, each different from the last, because why not. I like surprises.

So if you like surprises, and you like Jane Austen, and bookmarks, and watercolor and lettering and such, you should definitely enter this
****GIVEAWAY****

A multitude of winners will receive a piece of Jane Austen inspired artsiness, either in bookmark or art "print" (not a print, it'll be the orig, yo!) form.
How many winners? WHO KNOWS! I'll just keep giving 'em away as I see fit — and will be doing separate giveaways on twitter, too, so make sure you follow me!
This giveaway is INTERNATIONAL.
Fill out the Rafflecopter to enter.
Must be 13 years or older, or have parents' permission, void where prohibited, and all that jazz.
DO NOT leave any personal info or email addresses in the comments; those comments will be deleted, and the entries invalidated. (Stay safe online, guys, jeez!)
Giveaway ends September 6th at 11:59 EST.
Good luck!!

  1. I have the quote I won from you last year framed and up on my book shelf. Love it!

Oh, and I am all in for trying for another win. Maybe a bookmark with a Lady Susan quote since that has been our focus this year? So many quotables there, but really, any would be welcome. :)

  2. Since I've already won a 5x7 from you before (which is, like Sophia Rose's, on display in my room!), perhaps a bookmark? I'm not sure what I'd like it to say, though. Have to think on that... anyway, thanks for the giveaway!

  3. I prefer 5x7 as it can be framed and displayed for everyone in my house to admire. My favourite quote is from P&P "Think only of the past as its remembrance gives you pleasure." followed by Persuasion's "You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope.".

Thanks for doing this, Misty. As I am not a creative person, I admire those who are talented in arts.

  4. Perhaps there could be a bookmark for Miss Caroline Bingley, in blue, with the words: “Excuse my interference—it was kindly meant.”

  7. You are quite the artist Misty. Love you watercolors. I'm not picky and there are so many great quotes from her books, but the one in the picture, "Know your own happiness" is such a simple yet powerful message. Thank for sharing your works with us.

  8. Your prints and bookmarks are all so pretty, I'm probably most partial to Darcy, Henry Crawford (maybe some would say it's wrong to be partial to him, but he's a favorite of mine), and Captain Wentworth's letter at the end of Persuasion, but I like surprises so really I'd be happy to receive anything Jane related, I love all her books.

  9. I love your art work. Was it last year or the year before I received your Darcy and Lizzy facing each other. It is framed and hanging in my bedroom.

  10. I would love a bookmark. I collect them and I love & adore hand lettering! I haven't read any Austen but it is a goal of mine to have them all read by AIA 2018.

  11. I feel like a cheater entering this, since I already have one of your lovely 5" x 7" watercolor quotes. But they're so lovely! I'd love a bookmark, but I'd need to laminate it because my cats enjoy chewing my paper bookmarks. :/
