I really want to do a nice, relaxing #readervibes video for you, so allow me to pick your brain on your routines and ideal reader vibes by telling me ALL THE THINGS in the comments. I want details, people! Set the scene. =D
If you have topics you'd like to see covered in a lunch, book, or tea chat, please let me know!
I definitely have reader habits. They adjust to time of the year, work/home projects. But, for the most part, I will peruse newsposts, and magazine/journal articles over breakfast at the table or read a chapter of a book that is interesting, but not necessarily riveting. After work, I'll read a few chapters before hitting the chores or meal prep (this is my sit outside and enjoy the day type reading). At night, I read a few more chapters before bed. And yes, if the book suddenly takes off into unputdownable, I'm in trouble. But, that is the work week. My weekend reading changes. Saturdays, I will do morning errands or chores, but then save the afternoon for a book that might not be easy genre fiction reading and will many times be deeply engaging with my emotions or thoughts. I don't usually read on Sundays or Friday nights- those are for TV or movies if I'm home. I do print reading more in winter and audios more in summer.
ReplyDeleteI had an odd lunch of home-made granola and tacos with cranberry juice.
