ReplyDeleteAs to your question, my favourite Austenesque novel is Pemberley by the Sea or the re-titled novel now known as The Man Who Loved Pride & Prejudice. It's not a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice per se, but the themes and characters are still present in Abigail Reynolds's story.
