It feels like I've been talking about The Boneless Mercies for ages now. Maybe because I kind of have. From a stunning cover, intriguing and catchy title, to the fact that it's a gender-flipped take on Beowulf, there were a lot of things that had this book on my must-read list.
So obviously, I was more than happy to be part of the book's official blog tour, especially since it meant getting to do something that I don't do often: creating a mood board.
I'm the last leg of the tour, so make sure to check out all of the other great stops! I'll be talking more about my thoughts on the book very soon, but until then, here's a little sneak peek of what you're in for with this atmospheric feminist fantasy...

Get it here.
A dark standalone YA fantasy about a band of mercenary girls in search of female glory.
Frey, Ovie, Juniper, and Runa are the Boneless Mercies—girls hired to kill quickly, quietly, and mercifully.
But Frey is weary of the death trade and, having been raised on the heroic sagas of her people, dreams of a bigger life.
When she hears of an unstoppable monster ravaging a nearby town, Frey decides this is the Mercies' one chance out. The fame and fortune of bringing down such a beast would ensure a new future for all the Mercies. In fact, her actions may change the story arc of women everywhere.
I like the pictures you chose to match it up to the book. Boneless Mercies is definitely on my radar.
